Chester Zoo 2019

Date: 28th Mar 2019 @ 3:41pm

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Chester Zoo today. The weather couldn’t have been better, the children’s behaviour was exceptional and their enthusiasm quite infectious. After a morning of exploration and a picnic lunch we enjoyed an Evolution workshop:Ed and Steph (zoologists) talked to us about Charles Darwin, Natural selection and how giraffes shared a common ancestor with the Okapi. The children went on to discuss how each organism was adapted to its environment. Well done to everyone involved for making it such a fantastic and enjoyable day. More photos to follow!

What a super opportunity to work with Zoologists and to learn more about Evolution in the environment of Chester Zoo. Well done Y6 for demonstrating great learning behaviours.
