Fairtrade Finale!

We welcomed Heather to our assembly today. Heather is the Director of the Cheshire Development Education Centre (http://www.cheshiredec.org), she cares about the world being fair and so do we at Willow Wood! We are proud to be members of CDEC as we develop global learning in school.

As part of our spring topic, 'Heroes for Global Change' we have been discussing what being fair means to us at school and to the farmers who grow bananas, coffee, tea, pineapples and other products around the world.

Heather then led workshops so we could ask lots of questions, find out more and develop our thinking further.
