Junior Chef Academy

Date: 1st Oct 2014 @ 9:43pm

Our busy term continued with a visit from The Junior Chef Academy on Monday 29th Sept. The children enjoyed a 1 hour, food technology lesson with a WW1 theme. They learnt about the types of food that soldiers ate, food rations and food which provided good sources of vitamins for the soldiers. The session was fun and informative, embracing our school's creative curriculum approach to learning.

There were many smiling faces and happy shouts of "Yes Chef!" ringing out. The children were so excited to receive a nicely boxed WW1 cake that they had prepared and baked.
