The Choir at Crewe Lyceum

Date: 21st Jun 2017 @ 6:43pm

Last night, Tuesday 20th June, members of our choir went to the Crewe Lyceum theatre to perform as part of Stafford Sport and Performance Academy's production called 'Cheshire's Gotta Sing 2017'. We were one of several different schools there, each performing different pieces within their own choirs, and we performed brilliantly. Remember, we had been outside during the day for Sports Day and it was quite warm, so we think we did quite well! The evening finished off with a performance by Holmes Chapel School choir singing in memory of two of their pupils who were tragically caught up in the events at Manchester recently.

We sang 'Hallelujah', 'Fun, Fun, Fun' and 'Sing', and you can see and hear our renditions by clicking on the link below and watching the video. We weren't allowed to take photographs there, but we should be given a link to access the professional ones that were taken there. Mrs Hulse and Mrs Millar are extremely proud and grateful for those who attended, alongside the extra members of staff who came to support (we even caused them to shed a tear!). Thanks also to the parents who came to be audience members. Well done everyone!
