Year 6 Athletics success

Congratulations to the Year 6 athletes who represented Willow Wood in a local competition held at Winsford Academy. The highlight of the competition being the track relay races, where excellent legs were run all.  While there were some excellent individual perfomances in certain other field events (javelin, triple jump and long jump), the support, encouragement and celebrations demonstrated for each other was remarkable. Without surprise, this fantastic team spirit earnt the Yr6 team an overall 2nd place finish- well done to all involved!
