We had an amazing time at Blue Planet Aquarium. We saw lots of sea creatures, watched the divers feed the shark and even got to stroke a starfish.

This morning was our whole school 'Heroes for Global Change' assembly. All the classes shared something about the work they have been doing based on the Global Goals. The two we found out about were 'Under the Sea' and Poverty. We have been finding out how dangerous plastic is to marine life and what recycling actually means. We were surprised to find out that plastic bottles are recycled into polyester, which is then made into clothes, bags and coats.

Lilac team were very proud of Lilac class who shared their work on recycling with everyone.

Well done to Lewis and Reece who gained another free book to add to their bookshelves!

We had a couple of visitors drop into Lilac Class yesterday, PCSOs Steve and Kenny. Steve is a regular visitor and also comes along to our FAST sessions. We enjoyed asking them questions and finding out about what they do.
