School Council 2014 - 2015

The School Council consists of representatives from year groups one to six. Listening to the pupil voice is very important to us at Willow Wood and an active School Council is an important channel of communication in school. The School Council meets once every two weeks and Councillors are trained to report back clearly to their Class Councils. The School Council lead on important aspects of school improvement work as well as having great fun. Please read some of our minutes to see what we have been up to!

The School Council has chosen to support The NeuroMuscular Centre in Winsford as our school charity of the year. Amy, from the charity, is pictured giving out the silver piggy banks to the School Councillors in assembly. The charity have been open for 25 years and we are supporting their silver piggy bank campaign. As well as some whole school events organised by the School Council, each class will be holding fund raising events. Amy will return at the end of the year to help the School Council Treasurers to count all the money!
