Lilac Class, Spring term

Lilac Class have been very busy this term.

We have been following the school theme of 'Heroes for Global Change' and finding out about pollution and marine litter as well as 'Fair Trade'.

We have been looking at recycled objects, including our clothing and we have been making our own recycled products. In geography we have been using our map to find places in the world, places people have visited, where our books are printed and even where our food and clothing comes from. We have been measuring in maths, as well as multiplying and dividing this term.

We shared an amazing wildlife workshop with Mulberry Class, Connor has been visiting the fire-station and took part in a really well presented assembly. We have been watching the chicks hatch in Reception Class and also creating some rainforest pictures in the Art studio. Keira has been enjoying gymnastics with year 4 and we had some special visitors to class too.  Year 5 have taken part in their very first musical ensemble for parents. We popped out to Outdoor Learning with year 3 for an afternoon and we're excited to be going to Rosie's farm next week to see the lambs being born.

We hope you enjoy looking at the photos of our activities.
