A Cold Start!

Our new topic this term is Footprints and in Year 2 we are focusing around the polar regions. For our WOW beginning we came in ready to spend the day as an polar region explorer. We spent the day making an igloo from milk bottles (watch this space for the finished photos coming soon!), making blubber gloves, building dens and tasting marmite on toast! 

Our children said:

"Wow the blubber glove keeps me so warm I could stay her all day!"

" Is that what fat looks like!"

" The arctic is so pretty,"

"I'm going there when I'm older to be a scientist!"
