Head Teacher Welcome

Dear Parents/Carers,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I extend a warm welcome to all of you as Acting Headteacher of Willow Wood Community Nursery & Primary School. I am honoured to have the opportunity to lead such a wonderful school community and work alongside dedicated staff, supportive parents and talented children.

As the headteacher, my primary goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. I believe that each child is unique and has the potential to achieve greatness. By fostering a love for learning, promoting curiosity and providing a well-rounded education, we will empower our students to become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.

At Willow Wood we have a team of highly qualified and dedicated staff who are passionate about their profession and strive to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.  They will support your children to develop important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, creativity, kindness and resilience.

I strongly believe in the importance of collaboration and open communication between school, parents and the wider community. I encourage you to actively participate in your child's education by attending parents evenings, volunteering and engaging in school events and initiatives. Together, we can create a supportive and enriching learning environment for all children.
