Diversity Art Day
Date: 2nd Jun 2015 @ 3:22pm
Today, we have been celebrating DIVERSITY through art. Because we are currently studying Christianity in RE, we have chosen to design and produce stained glass windows which we are proudly displaying on our class window. It has been a 3-stage design process. The first stage involved the children creating their design on paper and colouring the design in. The only remit was that their designs had to be sympathetic to the Christian faith. The second stage involved the children reproducing this design using black card and coloured tissue paper. Lastly, black card and acetate was used to create their final masterpeices.
Have a look at our photos and I am sure you will agree that they look great.
