Geography Assembly
Date: 22nd Apr 2018 @ 8:40am
Our topic this term is, 'One World', which is a great opportunity for children to explore the richness and diversity of the history, culture, language and faith of people around the world and closer to home. This is an important part of our British Values education as we prepare pupils for life in the 21st century and to thrive in the diverse Britain of today.
The children led an assembly sharing information they had discovered, during Geography Week. We heard facts about a whole host of countries including, East Timor, Australia, China, Tobago, Spain, Greece as well as England. What an interesting and wonderful world we live in. It was great to see the children developing their map skills as they located each country on the world map.
Which country would you like to live in?
