Goodbye and Good Luck!

Dear all
I just wanted to write a final blog to all members of the fabulous Willow Wood community before I sign off as Headteacher on 31 August and handover to Martin Bell.
Firstly, may I see thank you so much for all the cards, gifts and good wishes that I received during my send off from Willow Wood. It was good to have the opportunity to see so many members of the Willow Wood community during the series of events that staff and FOWWS had organised for me; including singing our hearts out, eating a cream tea at the Summer Fair, playing games during the Buddy Fun Afternoon, my retirement party and the end of year assemblies. So many precious memories that I will treasure and carry forward with me.
Now, I want to wish everybody connected with Willow Wood good luck and warm wishes for the future. This school is a very special place to be as it helps everybody to grow, thrive and achieve their best. I have been honoured and privileged to serve as your Headteacher for the last nearly eight years and to see the school strengthen and develop due to the hard work and dedication of all. I know that all this good work will continue as Martin Bell takes up the Headship and I wish you all well as you move into the future together.
