Our first half term!

We have had a fabulous first half term together. The children have really settled well into year 3 and are working hard. We have enjoyed our PE lessons with Sportscape and our Athletic sessions on a Friday. Please make sure your child has a PE kit in school so they don't miss out!

We have been making Stone Age dwellings using clay, mudroc and sticks we gathered from the wild area. We also made beads for a necklace and will put some photographs on our class page when they are finished.

In English we have read 'The Stone Age Boy' and written our own descriptions and information. We are now reading 'The Bog Baby'.

In maths we have learnt how to use the column method to add, how to find fractions of shapes and amounts and now we area data handling! This is when we get to try crisps and chocolate!
