Our trip to Chester

On Monday 24th October, year 4 went to Chester to learn more about the Romans. We had so much fun!

We had a Roman tour where we dressed up as Roman soliders and marched down the streets of Chester. We were shouting "Sin, sin, sin, dex, sin" which means left, left, left, right, left.

Then, we had a workshop where we got to dress up as slaves, smell the different spices they used to use in their cooking and even make a mosaic.

After that, we looked in the museum where we could see a model of a Roman town, Roman artefacts and even some of the jewellery that they used to wear.
