Rosie's farm
Date: 15th Oct 2017 @ 6:55pm
We always have a wonderful time at Rosie's farm and this time was just as much fun.
We were surprised to see how big the lambs are now.... we fed them in the field and they are almost fully grown now. All three calves have also grown considerably.
We have been finding out about growing and changing and Connor was surprised to find that the sheep have the bones of their front legs named exactly the same as our arm bones!
We were looking for signs of Autumn as we are learning about the seasons of the year. The geese gave us a 'flypast' and we saw where the mice might like to live for winter. We enjoyed pretending to be 'hedgehogs' to see if we could avoid being eaten and we tracked a badger across the field where he had been digging for worms.
We walked down to the river and we are going to check out where we have been on Google maps this week.
