Sensational Singing Superstars!

Our amazing and wonderful year 5 children have just completed four  performances at Winsford Lifestyle Centre of 'Superstar', a new musical representation of the Christmas story. We performed as part of the WEP (Winsford Education Partnership) project, and we were some of the 500 performers to take part.

We were right at the front, sang beautifully with confidence, energy and enthusiasm, and were even able to incorporate actions and smiles into our singing! Ms Howbrigg, the conductor and a teacher at Oakland School, couldn't believe how much we had improved from when she came to visit us for the two rehearsals, and she said our voices made a really strong sound in the hall.

We really enjoyed ourselves, and are going into the Christmas season making sure our lights shine. Well done year 5, you have worked so hard and we are really proud of you all!
