Sikh Temple visit
Date: 27th Jun 2017 @ 2:26pm
Juniper class had a fantastic time visiting the Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) today. They learnt about the key Sikh beliefs 'being honest and truthful' and 'sharing, helping the needy and serving others'. They all took part in a prayer, as Sikhs believe there is only one God and everyone is equal.
The children had a 'langar' at the end, which is a meal provided by the Sikhs for all people no matter what faith. They shared crisps, biscuits and juice.
Louise commented, "This is the best trip I've ever been on."
Ellie said, "It was really fun and I enjoyed it."
"We all had a great time there," commented Grace-Lou.
"Mr Tatler and his friends were very kind and helpful," Lachlan said.
What a fabulous time we all had. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
