Singing in the Rain!

Our children sang under the awnings as the rain pitter-pattered down at the opening of the Winsford Marina and the people smiled, the rain clouds blew away and the sun shone (for a bit!)

The Town Mayor, opened the grand ceremony and then the crowds were entertained by the Willow Wood choir, maypole dancing, Morris dancing and a final song, 'Power in Me' sung by a joint choir from three local schools.

We all felt very proud as the children looked amazing in their red Willow Wood hoodies and sang beautifully! Thanks to all the families who supported this event by bringing their children along and the staff and governors who organised and encouraged the children! You were all awesome!
