Year 5 perform with the Halle Orchestra

Some of the children in Year 5 went to The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester yesterday to perform with the world-renowned Halle Orchestra. We listened to them perform a variety of pieces along the theme of 'Heroes and Villains', and we also played our instruments to two pieces, 'The Cuckoo Polka' and 'Tequila'. There were many other schools there who had also learnt the same pieces, as well as the two songs 'Believe' and 'Superhero Blues'.

The children were absolute superstars, and were suitably impressed with the music that was presented to them. They have even been challenged for a new use of 'Fidget Spinners'!
