Year 5 Celebration Assembly - Thanks!

A huge thanks to all those families and friends who were able to come along to our Year 5 Celebration Assembly on Monday 24th November.
I think you will all agree that the children were fantastic and were a credit to themselves and to you. They represented Willow Wood tremendously and we were very proud of each and every one of them. One of our school's focus is to improve children's speaking and listening skills and this was the perfect opportunity for them to showcase this to an audience.
It was a pleasure to share with you all the exciting learning opportunities that your children have at Willow Wood. Year 5 has been very busy so far and although it takes a lot of organising, it is worth it just to see how happy and fulfilled they are and to watch them developing in confidence as young people.
Please take the time to share these presentations with your families and friends. Sit with your child and use this as means of discussion with them about their learning so far.
