Year 6 Morrisons Manufacture Visit
Date: 24th Oct 2018 @ 3:28pm
As part of our Raising Aspirations/Careers project, Year 6 have been learning about jobs in the manufacturing industry. This week, a group visited Morrisons Manufacture to learn more about their manufacturing process. Not only did we learn about the manufacture of beef burgers firsthand, we even designed, cooked and devoured our own burgers. We also learnt about the wide range of employment opportunites available at such an organisation; Jamie and Martin discussed the importance of teamwork and problem solving skills in their day to day roles and responsibilities. We all really enjoyed the experience and would like to thank all the Morrisons staff who looked after us during the visit, particularly Steve Wilson who led the session.
