Redwood Blog Week 1 Autumn 2017

We are settling down into the routine of learning and self improvement and I'm seeing good evidence that children are reading at home! Please keep it up as reading is the most important thing that a child can do to improve academic performance by their own means...

The children are really enjoying the text, I WAS A RAT by Philip Pullman - please ask any child in Redwood class what the ratboy likes to say or do! You will laugh at the outcome! 

Our displays are up and the classroom really feels like we have been here forever, as opposed to 5 days!

Mrs. Millar and I look forward to recieving feedback on our curriculum letter and to giving you lots of information about this year and the residential visit, at the Year 5 information talk on Monday 18th September (in Mr. Shone's room.)
