Tattenhall Residential - Day 1

Date: 10th Nov 2014 @ 7:26pm

Greetings from Tattenhall!!

We are all having a fabulous time and have been far too busy to think about home. Our day has involved us:

  • Having a tour of our 'home' for the next few days
  • Unpacking our PJ's and teddies onto our bunks
  • Playing out in the extensive grounds - football, climbing equipment and a climbing wall were available to play.
  • Eating lunch with our friends
  • Pond dipping
  • Low Ropes challenge
  • Problem solving and climbing wall activities
  • Tea (very yummy) which was a choice of homemade pizza and wedges or homemeade chicken gougons and roast potatoes. All meals come with salad, vegatables and coleslaw for the children to choose from. Pudding was either fresh fruit or rice pudding (delicious). Children are offered seconds and the majority of them jumped at the chance (where do they put it?).

The children are currently enjoying sports and games in the hall whilst others are doing a science based craft session in the art room. They will then rotate so they all have the opportunity to do both.

Don't worry about them, they are having fun and can't wait for tomorrow's activities.
