Visit to Beeston

Date: 25th Feb 2015 @ 1:54pm

We had an amazing visit to Beeston. We stayed overnight at the Beeston Outdoor Education Centre where the staff made us all feel very welcome. The children enjoyed the food and ate everything they were given, many even had a second helping. We had hot chocolate and biscuits and a delicious cooked breakfast. The children were really excited and had lots of fun whilst learning about rocks and soils, how to make a shelter and the tale of ' The Witch's Steps'. The children were all fabulous and their behaviour was excellent. They were so good at the Candle Factory that Sarah, our instructor, said she had never worked with a class who were so quiet and who listened so well! The children worked really well in teams and supported each others learning. We were very proud of all our class! So a big thanks you to all of Magnolia for making this residential trip one to remember. See the photographs on our class page.
