Visit to Sikh Gurdwara 4th July 2019

Date: 4th Jul 2019 @ 5:02pm

Year 3 had a fantastic time visiting the Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) today.  They learnt about the key Sikh beliefs 'being honest and truthful' and 'sharing, helping the needy and serving others'. They all took part in a prayer, as Sikhs believe there is only one God and everyone is equal.

The children had a 'langar' at the end, which is a meal provided by the Sikhs for all people no matter what faith.  They shared crisps, biscuits and juice.

What a truly fabulous experience!
