Y6 Athletics team

This afternoon, 16 athletes from Year 6 represented Willow Wood in a Winsford regional competition at Winsford Academy. Everyone tried their best, despite the soaring temperature, and enjoyed participating in all the events. While we wait for confirmation of the team results, the individual winner of the long jump was Kate who managed a 1.9m standing long jump and the winner of the javelin was Vito who threw over 26m. Team result, along with photographs, to be up-dated in due course.

Well done to everyone who took part!
