Willow Wood at the Winsford Christmas Celebration

Last night, our school was represented brilliantly at the Winsford Christmas celebration.  Year 4 children were proud to lead the lantern parade from the Winsford Cross Shopping Arcade to the end of High Street, where Jamie Felton stood on stage to answer questions about the importance and meaning of Christmas.

Almost immediately after this, Megan Hamill, in her role as Junior Mayor, turned on the Winsford Christmas lights, in front of a supporting and cheerful crowd.

Finally, the school choir, led by Mrs Hulse and Mrs Clarke, delighted the shoppers and staff of B&M by singing some Christmas songs.  The manager even had a gift for each of our choristers!

Well done to everybody who took part, and a huge thank you to all of the parents and family members who came to enjoy the festivities and fun.
