Our trip to Reaseheath College

Year One had a fantastic trip to Reaseheath College near Nantwich, where we explored their outdoor area and experienced a little of the farming life.  We had two wonderful ladies working with us, Sam and Kathryn, who really made the day enjoyable.

We went for a frosty walk and looked at the different types of trees that grow in their woodland.  Did you know that you can measure the height of a tree by looking at it between your legs??!!  We did it!

We picked different types of apples, from eating apples to tiny ones that looked like berries.  We also got to use an apple press and make our own apple juice - much nicer than the shop bought juice!

The children were fantastic - we were very proud of them.

Thank you Reaseheath College for a lovely morning, we hope that we can come back soon!
